The Platte River
In an age when man has forgotten his origins and is blind even to his most essential needs for survival, water along with other resources has become the victim of his indifference.

Hello!
I stumbled upon your blog yesterday thanks to an article in our local newspaper about home-made grocery bags where a link to your blog was included. I just love love love what I've read so far! I'm inspired by your projects, your outlook, and your writing style. Basically, I'm addicted, and you bring a smile to my face. So keep it up! And I can't wait to start making my own produce bags! And I can't wait to live in a place where my garden can be big enough to require composting! And I, too, have a shelf full of Ball Jars on proud display in my kitchen, full of grains and beans and lentils etc!!
At any rate, it's nice to find a kindred spirit. :)
Oh, and the newspaper is Fremont, CA's Argus. Did you know you were becoming famous? ;)
Blessings, and looking forward to reading more.

What a great photo, *and* quote. :)
Love the quote!! (and the photo!!)
I'm glad you guys like the pic and quote. It was less of a happy quote than usual, but good to hear just the same.
Meg, I'm so glad that you found your way over here! Thank you so much for your super nice thoughts. They really made me smile. And I had actually checked out that link when I noticed more traffic than usual. Also, I stopped by your site to say hello, but it looks like you don't do comments. So I'll leave one here... I'm so jealous of the goat milk tour! Sounds like a wonderful time. See ya around.
Thanks for stopping by! As you probably figured out, I'm super new to blogging and didn't realize I didn't have comments enabled. *sheepish grin* I'm glad you said something! And yes, the goat farm tour was superb. If ever you come to CA, do it. :)
