Jenny and Her Camera

Why are women immobile? Because so many feel like they're waiting for someone to say, "You're good, you're pretty, I give you permission."

(I just want to once again say a huge Thank You to my sister, Jenny, for the use of so many of her pictures. Click on over to her site to see many more goodies.)

What I keep wondering is if she's started selling her work yet?

Oh, so Jenny is your sister? I've been reading this blog for a long while now, but still have trouble sorting out who's related to whom and how :) One of these days I'll get myself all figured out :)

Wander (Linda), she's up for doing photo shoots locally, but as for people actually buying her prints... she just isn't sure what people would want. I think we need to have a contest and a giveaway to find out.

Owl Momma, sorry about that! I've worried it might be an issue for some people. When I get all moved to my new site, I'm thinking of making a page that shows a family tree sort of thing, since I mention them so often.

Here's a quick rundown of my family, if you're interested... Jeff- my partner, Sean (20), Kenzie (17) and Randa (15) are my 3 stepkids and Joey (11) is our youngest. I'm the oldest of four siblings, Jenny is the next youngest, Tommy and Matthew are our little brothers who are twins, and Kam is Jenny's boy. Also, Wander to the Wayside is my aunt Linda (my mom's brother's wife). Oh, and Aurora is our cousin.

What about me?? Although I guess I need to either comment more or do more inspirational things to be in your blog. Sigh! That's the story of my life -- just kidding.

You are absolutely welcome! I love that you provide a home for them.

And thank you for this quote. I realize that way too often I end up waiting for someone else to tell me it's ok to try something.

Wander (Linda) I've been wanting to make my photos available for sale, I just can't figure out what specific photos and format people would want - postcard, poster, 8X10, mugs, calendars... you see my dilemma.

So yes, I'd love to do a giveaway.

Alice is my aunt, my mom's sister.

Alice, I'm looking forward to the day when I get to link to your site (you know, the one you haven't conceived of yet about matters of spirituality and/or crazy quilts). And if you did more ridiculous things like Tommy does, I'd probably include more stories about you. ;) Just so you know.

I'm finally catching up on people's blogs today, and you are at the top of that list. :) I am glad to be here, and thanks for linking to Jen's site. I love to look at good photographic work, and it helps me look at things in a new way for my own (amateur) photography, too. :)

Be well, Wendy, and take care. :)

Wendy, thanks for the clarifications. Though I'm pretty sure my confusion is pretty much self-generated, not a lack of clarity on your part. :) But a fmaily tree would be cool!
