That is the cutest little tragedy waiting to happen! lol Quite a good thing she labeled it! I follow your blog religiously, as well as many others. My home is for sale, and has been for ten months. Before I put the for sale sign on it, I packed everything we could do without for thirty days!!! Well, except for my sewing machine of course! And then something wonderful happened! I found there was more to do on computer than just play games and forward e-mails. I found BLOGS! Lots of Blogs...crafting, sewing, cooking, and everything you can think of blogs! So I stared at them for months and months, and then I started printing out free patterns and tutorials, and then started making totebags!! And then I decided to CREATE A BLOG! well..its a pretty sad thing sitting over there all by itself...two posts on it since august...camera is still in storage so no way to take pictures of anything....no home sold yet, so no new craft room all for me yet. Bleh! But I have all of you guys out here in blogland to lean on, and follow, for all kinds of inspiration so that when my life materializes again I can finally get my blog really going. I can't wait. Thank you so much for all of the inspiration you give. Debra
HappyHomemaker (Debra), I'm so glad I've been one of the bloggers who has inspired you. You really don't know how happy that makes me. Please be sure to let me know when you do start posting again so I can check out your blog for real (I did just stop by and leave a little comment).
The one thing that I've found is true, for me at least, is that it's good to start pretending that your life is already where you want it to be and do one or two things that you 'plan to do when life gets easier/better/unstuck', right now. I think you should get that camera out of storage and take some pictures! At the least you'll improve your photography skills (because I've found that taking pictures for blogs is a bit different than regular photography) and more importantly, you'll probably create some energy and motivation to move forward with all your creative goals.
Good luck with selling the house and I hope to see you around!
I try a lot of things. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. Take knitting as an example. I always say that I like knitting, but honestly, I think I just like the *idea* of knitting.
About Wendy
I'm a mom with 4 kids, only one of which I've grown from scratch. And as for my 3 stepkids, I'm incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. I've almost always got way too many projects going. But, if you want to know more than that, click here to see 8,452 completely random things about me... give or take.
This site is for entertainment purposes only. Though she has many impressive talents, Wendy is not a professional and nothing on this site should be construed as professional advice. She is simply describing how she takes care of herself and her family. Please do not do anything on this site without first checking in with your physician, trainer, life coach, nutritionist, financial adviser or clergy (and most importantly, with your own sense of what is right for you).
