I've pulled back the mulch from around the plants and will be getting some diatomaceous earth to sprinkle around the area. I'll report back when I find something that works.
And Kathi D, maybe you could diaper up your chickens and let them loose in your house. I bet they'd have em cleaned up in no time. ;)
I was just looking back at this post and I realized that I think I found the reason. I had made a bunch of temporary paths out of cardboard and it provided wonderful shelter to all the rollie pollies.
I try a lot of things. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. Take knitting as an example. I always say that I like knitting, but honestly, I think I just like the *idea* of knitting.
About Wendy
I'm a mom with 4 kids, only one of which I've grown from scratch. And as for my 3 stepkids, I'm incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. I've almost always got way too many projects going. But, if you want to know more than that, click here to see 8,452 completely random things about me... give or take.

She is simply describing how she takes care of herself and her family. How dare they! Wee little bastards.. Did you find a solution?
I had no idea that they were so voracious! How do you get rid of them?
Wow, my chickens would LOVE those!
Lately, the only roly-polys I have are INSIDE THE HOUSE. What's up with that, I wonder?

Ah, so sorry for your hosta. One of my favorite plants. As for those rolys - Gross! Sick little monsters.
Did you know that the latin name is Armadillidiidae?
