ReplyDeleteThe tree IS amazing. But I think the contrast between the tree and the kids is even more poetic. Old tree vs new generation of kids. Very big tree vs such tiny kids. Etc. I think Wendy's quote fits in very nicely =o). I teach beginner astronomy at a community college and I always finish the course with text written by Carl Sagan. Really really nice photo. --R. Fungus.
