ReplyDeleteIt's called Earth Henna. I can find it locally at just about any health food store. (If you're not so lucky, they also sell it online.)
ReplyDeleteMy neighbour is Indian, so when ever there is an occasion she gets decorated with henna, it is truly beautiful.

ReplyDeleteNormally, we do free hand designs, though these are just from the patterns in the kit.
The designs can last about a week or two, depending on how hot you keep the skin while it's curing.
I think I'll talk more about this next week, giving it a proper post, for those people who don't really read the comments.
