  2. It's called Earth Henna. I can find it locally at just about any health food store. (If you're not so lucky, they also sell it online.)

  3. My neighbour is Indian, so when ever there is an occasion she gets decorated with henna, it is truly beautiful.

  4. I'm really fascinated with this idea. They're so feminine and primitive and spiritual all at the same time. You make beautiful designs! Does it last long?

  5. Cami, you've pegged all my favorite things about henna... feminine, primitive and spiritual, oh and creative.

Normally, we do free hand designs, though these are just from the patterns in the kit.

The designs can last about a week or two, depending on how hot you keep the skin while it's curing.

  6. I think I'll talk more about this next week, giving it a proper post, for those people who don't really read the comments.

I've got a lot of tips and would like to share the design books we use.

So glad you decided to leave a message! Feel free to talk about yourself and don't worry if you tend to leave marathon comments. I don't mind. In fact, those are my favorite kind.

Finally, feel free to type your website address within your comment because one of these days I will be moving my blog and would like to retain links to all of you wonderful people (the blogger formatting of commenter links doesn't get transferred properly).

Cheers.
